About

I'm Mher, an Armenian type designer and visual artist exploring the relationship between letterforms, photography, graphic design and moving image. My work is driven by curiosity about how visual systems communicate. Whether designing a typeface, composing a photograph or building an identity, I'm interested in creating work that is clear, thoughtful and enduring. Typography has become the center of my practice. What began as a school project quickly grew into a long-term pursuit, leading me to study type design, develop original typefaces and build this website as a place where both the finished work and the process behind it can live together. Alongside typography, I work across photography, editorial design and film, viewing each discipline as another way of shaping visual language. This website is both an archive and an active studio—a place where new work, experiments and ongoing projects continue to evolve.
